About Nat
Howdy! I'm Nat!
Call me a true blue Texan, but I believe the best work happens when you take care of the people behind it — and in my world, those people are musicians.
I'm the Founder of SoundSync Music, where I've pitched and licensed thousands of songs by over 60 independent artists into TV, film, games, and advertising. That work has earned placements with major clients like HBO, Disney, and Amazon — and, more importantly, it's put real money and real exposure in the hands of independent creators who deserve both. In 2020, I was honored to be named one of Austin's "20 of 2020" for my contributions to the local creative community.
My approach to sync is equal parts ear and strategy. I know how to hear where a song belongs, how to pitch it to the people who can place it, and how to build the relationships and systems that turn one-off syncs into a sustainable catalog. Having spent years in music and streaming — including leading content operations during YouTube Music's rise to the fastest-growing streaming service in the world — I understand both the creative and the operational sides of getting music heard.
But I'm more than my work. I'm the daughter of two Vietnamese refugees who taught me to be resourceful, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to honesty. Those values shaped the tenacious, innovative person I am today, and they show up in how I advocate for the artists I represent.
I love sharing what I've learned. I've spoken as a SXSW panelist, guest lectured at St. Edward's University, and hosted workshops with organizations like the Austin Music Foundation — always with the same goal: uplifting creatives and helping them navigate the business side of their art.
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet. Whether you're an artist looking to get your music placed, a music supervisor searching for the right track, or someone who just loves the craft, I'd love to connect and create something amazing together.
Let's get to work!
